Kurt Beiemeister

PT, MS

Born and raised in New Jersey, Kurt frequently came to Maine for summers at the family camp. He played sports, all kinds, which led to numerous injuries and trips to his Physical Therapist. Impressed with how effective his treatments were, he decided a degree in Physical Therapy would be a great choice.

Graduating from Husson College in 2000, Kurt returned to New Jersey and enjoyed working in a very dynamic sports orthopedic clinic, but he missed the Maine lifestyle. Since his return, Kurt has received advanced training in Integrated Manual Therapy, an approach to PT care which focuses on assessing the entire body so appropriate treatments may be applied. Kurt now combines his orthopedic training with IMT to achieve the best possible results for his patients.

“It is at GBPT that I have found the perfect environment to use my unique skills. The staff is excellent, and our patients respond to our compassionate care. It is truly my home away from home” ~ Kurt

"I'm Glad I Chose Greater Brunsick Physical Therapy."
~ Jolanda de Levie, Orr's Island

Jolanda de LEvie struggled for 20 years with increasing arthritis pain and stiffness in her hip joints. She heard about GBPT "through the grapevine" and asked her doctor for a referral. "In the course of two months Peter Cooper has managed to realign my hip joints and spine - I can now move parts of my body that were frozen before. I am amazed at the variety of manipulations he used. In my previous course of PT (out of state), I got the same treatment every time a hot pack followed by ten minutes of massage by a physical therapist, then another ten minutes with an assistant. At GBPT, a top-notch therapist spent the entire session with me. The results are as different as night and day. I feel 20 years younger."
